"Red, White & Crüe" contains the original CRÜE's first studio recordings since 1998's "Greatest Hits". The group's last full-length collection of new material, "Generation Swine", was released in 1997. A full-length studio album, "New Tattoo", was issued in 2000 without the contributions of drummer Tommy Lee, who had left the group to launch a solo career. That set featured the talents of former OZZY OSBOURNE drummer Randy Castillo.
